I’m at Heroes Con in Charlotte this weekend. Come by if you’re visiting. I’m selling all my wares.
My wife informed me that Substack started sending out coupons on my behalf (saying it was from me). I have nuked all the settings to root out the mole and I apologize for any who received unsolicited emails.
Here there be pages:
This Week’s Pages
Behind the Scenes
Here’s the best thing I’ve drawn all week:
In reality, I’m working through what we in the business refer to as “being terrible at drawing.” Sometimes these things come and go. You try to draw, but it’s as though you’ve been possessed by a spirit who is unpracticed in the visual arts.
I’m still knocking out pages, it’s just with a slower pace required by increased revision. So I’ve been drawing superheroes to try and loosen up. Like this guy.

Creative blocks are part of the game for anyone who tries to make something from scratch. The cure for it simple: power through. Keep drawing poorly until something gets better (or writing poorly, if that’s your thing). It works the same with a stitch in your side during a run —you can run through it. Of course, once I tried that and a dog bit me. Unrelated.
See you next time.
